Prime Minister’s Office of Malaysia

The Prime Minister’s office is the official office of YAB Prime Minister of Malaysia. This office is one of the agencies under the Prime Minister’s Department. The main mission of this office is to ensure a conducive environment for the Prime Minister to carry out its duties and responsibilities effectively.

Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI)

The Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), is a ministry of the Government of Malaysia that is responsible for international trade, industry, investment, productivity, small and medium enterprise, development finance institution, halal industry, automotive, steel, and strategic trade.

Ministry of Finance (MoF)

The Ministry of Finance, abbreviated MOF, is a ministry of the Government of Malaysia that is charged with the responsibility for government expenditure and revenue raising. The ministry’s role is to develop economic policy and prepare the Malaysian federal budget. The Ministry of Finance also oversees financial legislation and regulation.

Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA)

The Malaysian Investment Development Authority Board (MIDA) is the government's principal agency that oversees and drives investment into the manufacturing and services sectors in Malaysia.

Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE)

The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation abbreviated MATRADE is the Malaysian National Trade Promotion Agency which is responsible for promoting and executing trade initiatives in Malaysia and helping Malaysian companies and enterprises to achieve success in the international market.

Bank Negara Malaysia

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) is the Central Bank of Malaysia. Established on the 26 January 1959 as the Central Bank of Malaya (Bank Negara Tanah Melayu), its main purpose is to issue currency, act as banker and adviser to the Government of Malaysia and regulate the country’s financial institutions, credit system and monetary policy. 

ASEAN

ASEAN, or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, is a regional intergovernmental organisation comprising ten countries in Southeast Asia that promotes political and economic cooperation among its member states.

BELT AND ROAD INITIATIVES (BRI)

The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), organised by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), is a Chinese government-led global infrastructure and economic development project aiming to enhance international trade, investment, and connectivity across multiple regions through a network of trade routes and collaborative initiatives.

D-8 CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (D-8 CCI)

The D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation, also known as Developing-8, is an organisation for development co-operation among the following countries: Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey.

ISLAMIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INDUSTRY AND AGRICULTURE (ICCIA)

The Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) is an affiliated institution of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and is the sole representatives the private sector of the 57 Member Islamic Countries.

ICCIA aims at strengthening closer collaboration in the field of trade, commerce, information technology, insurance/reinsurance, shipping, banking, promotion of investment opportunities and joint ventures in the Member countries.

ASIA BUSINESS CREATION (ABC) PLATFORM

Spear headed by Kansai Economic Federation (KANKEIREN), Osaka, Japan – with participation from Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

The ABC Platform will leverage various links between Asia and Kansai to specifically work on creating and expanding bi-directional business between Asia and Kansai.
